“John and I made plans to go to our favorite cafe one morning, but when he woke up, he told me he had an emergency at work. So in my comfiest sweater, I headed off to the cafe without him and curled up with my laptop in my usual corner table. About an hour later, John walked in, apologetic and carrying a white box. He said he had a surprise for me and when he opened the box, I saw my favorite sprinkle donuts! Next thing I know, he’s also down on one knee and I had to take a second look at the donuts to realize they spelt out “MARRY ME”! It was perfect – donuts and a diamond (AND before saying yes, I made him promise to give me 5 dogs one day too!)...”
