White Man (And Woman) Can Jump

This whole weekend we had rain scheduled. Katie & Ryan said, “rain photos, that’d be FUN!”. What I should have done was called my insurance company and got a larger policy to cover “voluntary use of photographic equipment in rain”, but instead said, “yeah, lets do it!”. So we met in Ventura and… no rain. There was about a 2hr break in the rain, of which we used all of it. Did some urban shots downtown, then to the beach where we were treated with a non-traditional sunset. A burst up in the clouds, which we had a good time just goofing off with. As you can see, they’re both pretty good jumpers. My D700 was literally almost touching the sand, so just about anyone could get a shot like this, even if you have the hops of a pine tree. Hope your weekend was good. I’m off today since the boys don’t have school, which means… day home. Should be doing my taxes. Will probably end up playing the Wii.
