Wedding - Perfect Dress For The Perfect Lady

Perfect Dress For The Perfect Lady

Vanesa & Eddie's wedding package was unlimited time. Usually that's between 7-10 hours. I got to the hotel they were they were getting ready at noon. I didn't leave the reception hall until almost midnight. So, 12 hours by myself. I think I lost about 15lbs at first, but then gained it back with the delish prime rib and salmon. We worried all week about the rain storms scheduled to come through our area, but were awarded with bright blue skies. So bright in fact that we did the majority of the formal portraits in the shade. I don't like people squinting. But we did get some other good shots. So I used my new Vivitar 285HV flash along with an ebay wireless remote hooked on a light stand with umbrealla. That thing worked real well! Shooting the dress before she put it on, I hung it up on these doors in the bridal suite. Took some shots, but the lighting wasn't anything special. So since I was using all wireless, put my flash & umbrealla behind the dress in the other room and shot. Wow......... I like it, and so did she. New toy, new toy! Strobist: Vivitar 285HV flash fired via ebay PT-04II triggers into silver reflector umbrealla at full power (M 1/1) mode from Nikon D200. Manual speed (1/40th, f/3.2 ISO200)
