Luxury Hotel Le Marois Real Wedding - French Wedding Style

via

Good morning lovely FWS readers, we hope you're energised from the weekend and are ready for the week ahead! We are kicking this week off with a luxury Hotel Le Marois real wedding.

Our lovely bride and groom Theresa (A host on one of Hawaii's top television programs) and Guillaume (A diplomat at the Consul of France in Hawaii) tied the knot early last year in May. It was very much Hawaii meets fairytale Paris Wedding.

Our gorgeous bride wore a beautiful princess gown from Bijou Bridal complete with diamond droplet earrings and a long sheer veil.

Theresa and Guillaume both enjoyed a morning of preparations at the opulent Shangri-La Hotel and continued their celebrations at Hotel Le Marois which is in the heart of Paris, ideally located between the renowned Avenue Montaigne and the majestic Grand Palais. Behind the doors of this typical Haussmannian mansion, discover 8 lounges decorated with 18th century woodwork and paintings, a magnificent terrace facing the Grand Palais as well as a refined culinary experience by Butard Enescot.

Wedding planner Rendezvous in Paris will be walking us through today's Hotel Le Marois Real Wedding...

"Guests gathered in Paris from the US, Italy, Switzerland and France to attend the wedding. Wedding festivities began the night before on the couple's hotel terrace at the Shangri-La, Paris with a welcome champagne reception watching the iconic Eiffel Tower light up in twinkling lights."

"Their wedding ceremony and reception was held at Hôtel Le Marois. For the bride who is American and the groom who is a French diplomat in America, it seemed to be the perfect location to bring their cultures together."

"The bride and groom wanted to bring a little part of their beloved Hawaiian homeland to their International and French guests so they incorporated a special Maile lei blessing performed by Chanters from Halau Hula O Manoa into their wedding ceremony blessing the bride, groom and their two sons- uniting and blessing their immediate family circle."

"Following the ceremony the Hawaiian Halau performed Hawaiian Auana dances for the guests during the champagne cocktail reception including a unique song & dance performance of the famous french song- "La Vie En Rose" translated into Hawaiian. The Hawaiian Wedding song was also performed by the Maid of Honor and Officiant- Elizabeth and Stan Lum."

"As the groom was born and raised in Paris, France. It was important to also incorporate French elegance into the wedding. The refined four course culinary dinner was catered by the extraordinary team of Butard Enescot and was held in the exquisite Washington Room using gold and white Chiavari chairs, white orchid and pink peonies floral accents and Versace dinnerware. Guest seating was indicated by custom made Swarovski crystal jeweled name cards made by Miemko Atelier of Honolulu. Wedding favors included macaroons from the famous French luxury bakery- Ladurée and custom messaged chocolate covered fortune cookies from Hawaii's- Honolulu Chocolate Company."

"The wedding cake was custom made to the bride and groom's specifications by Synie's in Paris."

"The after party was held in the adjoining Salon LaFayette where cocktails and dancing went on until the early hours of the next day. The couple then took an extended honeymoon in Italy and the South of France for the following weeks in June."
