Today we are happy to share the work of Lana Human Photography with you. The pair got hitched at Bordeaux Game Farm and we are absolutely in love with the colour scheme and décor.

Congratulations on your marriage, Rikus and Martinet!

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Oh when I think of it I smile! We met each other the first time on a hockey and rugby tour. The first time I saw Rikus, I thought how will I ever get such a handsome guy. A year passed and we both went to the same University. When we saw each other on campus we would just walk by and greet each other until one night he asked me to dance with him at a party. I still remember what he smelled like and what he was wearing. We started to hang out and have been inseparable since! Together for 6 years.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

He really surprised me! Told me it was his year end function at work and we had to go for the weekend to Hartbeespoortdam. He took me to this beautiful place looking over the Hartbeespoortdam, all made up according to my style, he also made sure the menu included all of my favourites! He got down on one knee and popped the question. I really didn't give much time to say anything else and said yes like 3 times. It was a very special weekend!

The Big Day | What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?
ment I walked down the aisle. It was emotional, beautiful and special. I was so excited to marry Rikus, all smiles down the isle. This moment when you are walking down the isle towards your best friend, the person you choose to be with for life, looking just at him is the best moment ever. It's the start of forever. Choosing each other. Him standing there, emotional, waiting just for you, thinking that you are the best and most beautiful in his life, that is memorable!

Describe your wedding day in one sentence

The goal is to laugh forever, with someone you take serious.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides?

Ï would say keep your wedding day simple. It really passes by so quickly, just enjoy every moment with your husband and just take it all in.
