Gimlet-eyed Crystal Nicodemus is busy snapping street-style starlets during NYFW. Here are her photos to inspire you for next season, or this, and some wardrobe picks to help you get the look.

OK, it's official. I am obsessed with the raw-edge denim trend. I literally cannot stop photographing it. From jeans to tops to dresses, it's such a massive theme this season that all the top editors and fashion babes are wearing it. Kelly Harrington's asymmetrical dress is awesome, full stop. I especially love how she layered it with a bright white turtleneck to accommodate the London chill. Bold sneakers are a great way to add some pattern, while a mini bag with bandana accent is ultra trendy.

DJ and Fashion Week darling, Chelsea Leyland is the embodiment of London cool. Her personal style is inspired and creative. This quirky femme look is subtly subversive. Her high shine mini adds some evening texture to a simple style. White button ups are a must have this season, and I am digging those extra long sleeves. Velvet booties and a kitschy clutch add even more personality to the ensemble. Well played, Chelsea!

Kerry is back for yet another round on The Thread! I'm always excited to see what Kerry is wearing and she never lets me down. The Seventies are clearly a majorly trending theme this season, so Kerry's corduroy flares are right on the money. A matching vest and chic sheer blouse up the retro ante even further. Funky circle sunnies, and bold red lip are all the accessories you need.

Stylist extraordinaire, and all-around cool woman, Kate Foley never disappoints in the street style department. She is unique and stays true to her retro feminine aesthetic, without ever looking overly done. It's a true stylist who can manage that! Today's floral frock is a statement stunner. I love the slightly belled sleeves and thick belt accent. Menswear-inspired oxfords are unexpected and add some urban edge to the ladylike pattern.
