Peter-John & Fouzia's Cableway Wedding - Wedding Friends

via

Love lifts us up to where we belong...Well Peter and Fouzia certainly found a spot for their wedding that would be considered...different in most circles. This lovely couple had their wedding on top of a mountain just outside of Hartbeespoort Dam. All their guests were shuttled by a helicopter to the top and back. The day was photographed by the ever talented Mario Sales Photography. The wedding planner and designer was Beatrix from Beatrix Events.

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Peter was actively involved in different sports and after a late game of touch Rugby he
would go with his mates for a cold "one or two". Fouzia was a waitress at the local hang
out. After an altercation between myself and a customer (customer threw his drink into
my face, I burst into tears and correctly told the client that that is not the way to treat a
person irrespective if I was wrong. Pete, fell in love with this "reaction" and the kind
person he saw, the way I carried myself under this situation. That was just one of few
special moments that brought us together.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

We went for dinner and his plan was to pop the question @ Aariya restaurant. I bought
him Trevor Noah tickets. He secretly excused himself from dinner & "decided to speak' to
the Trevor Noah, after chatting to Trevor and his Manager (fabulous and considerate
people) they gave the green light, this has never been done/allowed. So, I was surprised
when our seat numbers were called "apparently we had won a prize". In front of 5 000
people, Peter on 1 knee, telling me that we did not win a prize, he wanted to win a
lifetime prize "My Heart". 5,000 people shouting, take the ring, take the ring, "I said Yes".

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Peter: standing at the aisle and watching her walk down. That memory will never ever go
away. As I walked to meet her half way, in tears. I got into a smooch position in front of
150 guests, got to smooch her before the priest allowed us.Fouzia: Seeing all guests got up and down the venue by Helicopter. After the ceremony,
my "Husband" and myself got our first moment together as a married couple. The two of
us, flying down seated in the back, staring into his eyes, knowing this is the man my heart
desired. fabulous views, excellent pilot ". Seeing that we both afraid of heights. Looking at him in mid air and hearing him whisper "I love you Babe".

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day

Speechless, scenic, breath-taking a dream come true, a mountain to climb, love.

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

Sorry, no advice regarding good men, as Peter is "gone". On a serious note, follow
your heart, make sure you plan properly and well in advance. do you research on wedding
planners, after 10 telephonic interviews Beatrix Lourens was the only one that would be
able to "climb the mountain" we visualised. She did this perfectly. Oh, sexy lingerie, very
sexy lingerie on your wedding night is a great investment!
