Eugenia Vasiliadis and Barbara Joy Kavchok, the mother and daughter team behind eco-glam bridal brand Eugenia Couture not only create gorgeous gowns, but in their Philadelphia design house honors the environment, too.

The designers take a "zero waste" approach to their wedding and special occasion gowns. Every scrap of fabric is used in some capacity-any remaining fabric from a gown is used as embellishment or detail on another. Eugenia Couture refuses to use the harsh chemicals, bleaches and dyes often used to make bridal gowns, and instead uses domestically-sourced natural materials like recycled burlap or natural, sustainable bamboo.
