After finishing the Boston Marathon on Monday, Greg Picklesimer let his love go the distance, too. He proposed to girlfriend Carla White at the finish line. She said yes.

"After last year I realized the people you love and your life can be taken so easilly, so quickly," Picklesimer told CBS Boston in the segment above, continuing, "I didn't want to lose that so I decided to come back and seal the deal."

Picklesimer spotted his beloved (who also goes by Carla White-Keefe, per her Facebook profile) at the finish, took a knee, produced a ring out of his back pocket and popped the question.

Incidentally, Picklesimer ran the 26.2 miles in an impressive 2 hours, 42 minutes and 32 seconds. That's a great run with an even better finish!
