Coral and Mint Wedding Inspiration

Coral and Mint Wedding Inspiration

This coral and mint wedding inspiration board was a frustrating one to put together! Normally I like to have nine or ten images in a board but I just wasn’t happy with the combinations I was coming up with, so I decided that less was more! Another reason why it was difficult for me? I wore a backless coral dress to my 21st birthday and the day after, I fell madly out of love with it! It’s always been that awful dress lurking at the back of my wardrobe.. Thing is, when I saw the coral chair against that greyish mint wall I was just so drawn to the combo and felt that coral might deserve a second chance. This is definitely an outdoor spring, summer combination with the pinkish tones and is very flirty. Mismatched bridesmaid dresses are a reliable way to start making this palette work for you and if you can find one, make sure one of those dresses has a bit of sequin or beading detail like the fab Elie Saab dress in the top row. Go with a pinkish coral bouquet with silk ribbons in mint tones and for make up, keep it very fresh with bright cheeks and a tinted lip. I always think inspiration should come from your venue or its surroundings so before you pick any colour scheme, think of the reception room and the little details, is it dark or neutral and play around a bit. It’s lots of fun.
